House opened with the help of the owner, the Brenda Strafford Foundation.
Their generous donation of the use of the house has enabled the Children's
Cottage Society to provide emergency family shelter for families who are
currently experiencing homelessness. Families can be together in a safe,
homelike environment and receive the support and the resources they need.

Between Friends provides quality social,
recreation and development opportunities for people with disabilities so they
can connect, grow, and belong. We are a pan-disability organization with more
than 80 different disability groups participating in our programs. Children,
youth and adults with disabilities seek social and recreational activities that
are fundamental to enriching self-esteem, quality of life, as well as mental
and physical health. These programs become pivotal in the lives of our
participants as they decrease the degree of isolation they may face.
